In 2015, I began founding and building a comprehensive system for understanding light, form, and color in digestible and short, but info-packed lessons! I've taken everything I've learned as a student painter at Art Center College of Design, and the past decade as a professional concept artist, illustrator, teacher, and team leader; and trimmed the fat, the mystical mumbo-jumbo, and created a series that explains the mysteries of painting, design, and realism in clear and concise language in fun and informative packages.
My system builds on each successive lesson, advancing an artist's skill methodically, and with purpose.
It's my goal to make a fully comprehensive series, that educates and entertains; in the vein of Bob Ross's: Joy of Painting! (Which was my first real introduction to art as a kid!) Mine has a bit more bite, but his generous contribution to us all has inspired me to share my knowledge as well!
